It’s normal to feel sad, frustrated and overwhelmed during challenging periods in our lives especially when you are facing a difficult life transition, struggling in your relationship, grieving or stuck in the cycle of blame, shame and guilt. The good news is you can become more aware of your thoughts and feelings and therapy can help get you unstuck and challenge old patterns of behavior.

I value the practice of mindfulness and self-awareness and believe they are key components in shifting perspectives and creating a sense of well- being in ourselves and in our relationships with others. Therapy needs to be flexible and fit the needs of the client. My practice is based in the humanistic perspective and centered on self-actualization, self-discovery and choice. My therapy approach includes Dr. Phil Stutz and his 3 concepts of reality; pain, uncertainty and constant work which promotes self-growth. Logotherapy, Viktor E. Frankl’s work of radical acceptance and the shift towards purpose and meaning. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) evidenced based practice which enables clients to lose the negative images, sensations and symptoms of trauma, PTSD, OCD, anxiety and depression. I have extensive experience in grief-work , chronic disease management and CBT.

We are more than our problems. We have the ability to shift our perspectives and create the life we want. My goal is to create a safe and compassionate space to help you better understand your thoughts, experiences and relationships.

“The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, knowing suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths.  These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern.  Beautiful people do not just happen.”  – Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
