I’m Don, and I’m glad you’re here.

You might be feeling stuck. Maybe you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, loneliness. Maybe you know something isn’t right but can’t figure out exactly what it is.

I would be honored to hear your story and help you get unstuck. I’m not perfect, but I’m authentic and nonjudgmental. I will give you a safe place to share your struggles as well as your deepest desires for yourself and your relationships.

I primarily use cognitive-behavioral and attachment-based approaches. This simply means that I think awareness and strong relationships are essential to our well-being and happiness. And so we’ll spend much of our time clarifying your thinking and finding ways to improve your relationships.

Don Emmerich specializes in individual counseling for children ages 8 through adults.  Don is a full-time school social worker in the Denver Public School District and passionately enjoys his Saturday clinical hours in our Longmont office.  Don is an experienced, energetic therapist adept at building strong relationships with his clients.
