My focus as an integrative art therapist and counselor is on holistic well-being. I believe all of us have the potential to be whole and healthy. Even though our thoughts and feelings about life’s experiences and challenges may have impacted our mental health and well-being, they are still inside of us, waiting to be rediscovered. My goal is to support you in using your inner resources to successfully move forward in a meaningful way.

Psychotherapy Art Therapy
With empathy, warmth, and practical tools, I support clients as they increase self-awareness and confidence to make progress in their lives.

My background includes working with children, teens and adults who are at-risk, special needs, and neurodivergent in a variety of settings including schools, inpatient, outpatient, and residential care, as well as in assisted, independent and memory care facilities.

I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds as they gain wisdom and insight into their own lives. I’m particularly interested in Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy, parenting with Love and Logic, and supporting caregivers whose partners have Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia.

I look forward to joining you on your unique journey of discovery.

Art therapy is fun and engaging and requires no artistic skills. It combines artmaking and creativity with psychotherapy to encourage greater self-awareness and improve overall well-being. Art therapy offers an alternative and creative way to express what may be hard to discuss and can be especially helpful during times of crisis or difficulty.

Art therapy can easily be incorporated into all or part of a therapy session. It can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression; increase resilience and personal empowerment; and boost self-esteem and well-being.

Art is universal and promotes playfulness, self-expression, and imagination. Art therapy may be a helpful tool on your path of personal growth.
