During these times many are struggling to create a “new normal, some structure in this chaos”. This change is like no other time before. Change can increase stress, anxiety, depression, and conflict. My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families navigate and thrive during these challenging times. I can help families cope with increased family isolation, support parents in their new roles as “teacher & activity director” and professionals find balance between strength, commitment, and safety. Families are the foundation for health living, and I am passionate about helping families learn to manage and resolve conflicts. As a well-practiced couples & family therapist, I enjoy supporting people reconnect with one another and overcome changes. I help each member master healthy communication, reorganize roles, and learn to have fun with one another again.
I have 15+ years of experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I use a variety of therapies to assist individuals/couples and families identify roadblocks, recognize strengths, and develop coping skills to move towards their life goals. My practice is about creating a trusting relationship in a safe space to support, challenge, and guide my clients on their journey to their “best life”. I help young adults to work towards independence, children to regulate their emotions, parents to work through all stages of life, couples to rekindle their relationship, and professionals to find balance.
It is my pleasure to meet with clients willing to look at issues that prevent forward movement. So much can be healed through the process of reflection and awareness. I am a compassionate person who approaches therapy with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude in addressing issues. Working together, we can look at what solutions have been attempted in the past: what has worked, and what has not. Collaboratively, we can resolve to forge a new path with new patterns. I would be honored to partner with you to help you lower stress, increase coping ability, and find solutions, in order to function in a better capacity.
