Choosing to see someone for counseling is a courageous step. I believe we all can benefit and grow from having an objective person looking at our lives with us. I love this work, and feel honored to be both witness and guide as people reconnect with their vitality, wisdom and creativity.
At the heart of my counseling practice is my desire to help you live your best life. To become clearer about what is meaningful to you, rather than what others might have told you about yourself along the way. I am committed to working deeply and gently with your life story and issues. We create your treatment plan together, carefully identifying your goals for therapy.
I have also had the privilege of working with elementary aged children. While the principles are similar, play is the language of the child and thus will be an essential part of therapy. I provide a safe space for your child to be heard, both in their words and through what their behavior is communicating.
My career has been blessed with wonderfully rich experiences as a Hospice Grief Counselor, A School-Based Therapist and a mental health worker providing counseling to individuals, couples, families, and children.
