I specialize in individual counseling for adolescents and adults. I also offer couples and family counseling. I have experience with a wide range of issues but have a passion for assisting clients with depression, anxiety and bi-polar.
I am a mindfulness-based psychotherapist, which means that I am dedicated to bringing you into the moment-to-moment experience of your mind with openness, warmth, curiosity, and unconditional acceptance. Not only do I hold space for your experience with a mindfulness orientation, you will be practicing mindfulness-based interventions to raise awareness.
So often, unconscious dynamics and inherited patterns of behavior dominate our lives. These processes usually exist beneath or outside of our conscious awareness. Mindfulness-based therapy produces the insight and self-compassion necessary to identify your needs and progress toward your goals.
