The search for the right counselor can be frustrating and intimidating. Your time is valuable and your investment in yourself or your family is important. I will help you work through the fear and anxiety that are common as we begin. Once we establish that we are a good fit, we will discuss goals, obstacles, and a treatment plan to move forward together.
My goal is to create a safe place for clients to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with no judgement. I believe clients are unique and valuable creations regardless of their past or present circumstances. I work with children, adolescents and adults offering individual, couples and family counseling.
I take great pride in serving my community by providing counseling, education, and support for people in all seasons of life. For the past 20 years, I have been in a helping profession in some capacity. My experience and education have prepared me to come alongside clients with true empathy and clinical knowledge.
As a Psychotherapist registered with the State of Colorado, and a Masters in Counseling Graduate level Intern, I am committed to providing ethical counseling services to all members of my community. I am a learning member of the Colorado Counseling Association, as well as the American Counseling Association (ACA). I adhere strictly to the ACA professional code of ethics.
“Oh, the comfort — the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person — having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away.”
